Infinity Exploration collected $152,741,681 during the April, May, June period — bringing total earnings for the fiscal year to $505,349,324 and setting an all-time record.

Royalty earnings during the period were $138,711,191, and brought with them an additional $636,241 in interest. Gas and oil development royalties go into the state's Land Grant Permanent Fund and are distributed to public schools and seven universities, the New Mexico Military Institute, New Mexico School for the Deaf and School for the blind and Visually Impaired.

Infinity Exploration Company challenged Texas leaders and the Railroad Commission to deal with problems in Texas natural gas markets with a hard-hitting address to independent oil and gas producers earlier this month. Declaring that "natural gas markets in Texas are broken," Williams voiced his concern that the federal government would effectively take over the state's job in policing Texas markets. Williams called for "action, not just talk."
